We were approached directly by the landowners to acquire their unused side garden which had planning for a modern 3 bedroom detached bungalow.
We structured a deal to purchase the land and also incorporated a comprehensive works package to complete works within their property such as a new driveway with entrance, patios, garden walls, fencing and other landscaping works. We also advised the landowners of a tax advantage before completion.
We then enhanced the design of the property by moving the garage back and adding in an Electric sliding gate with private walled garden which required us to work with the local planning and heritage authorities.
The property is a Scandinavian style modern, bright and spacious bungalow using modern materials with a standing seam roof, Siberian larch timber cladding and anthracite grey windows. Our Construction Manager came up with the name – The Grey Lady.
